Paxos

Paxos covers an area of 19 sq.km and is one of the tiniest and most impressive islands in the Ionian sea, although it is the biggest of a 12 islands made up archipelago, some of whom are hardly bigger than a rock. Entering the narrow channel which leads to the picturesque port of Gaios, a natural, enchanting scenery of the island will take your breath away…your holiday starts here, among centuries old olive trees, crystal clear water, the bright sunshine and thousand other things that cannot be written or talked about but must be experienced and believed in.

From Gaios you can easily reach some delightful villages, such as Lakka or Loggos where piece and quiet is guaranteed to those who seek it in the shade of olive groves after a whole day in the sun. You can bathe in the little coves all around the island or on the sandy beaches of Antipaxos, well known for its bays, whose water reminds of swimming pools, and its fine, white sand.
